An easily accessible guide to the two referendums for those with intellectual disability has been produced for the first time following collaboration between the Referendum Commission, Down Syndrome Ireland and other disability groups including the National Federation of Voluntary Bodies, Brothers of Charity South East Services, Western Care, Stewart’s Care, Cheeverstown House and St. Michael’s House.
The aim of the material is to provide information on the upcoming referendums, being held on Friday 4th October, in an accessible format for people with intellectual disability so that they can make an informed choice.
