How to support next week’s ‘Financial Abuse’ campaign as an NSC Member organisation
The National Safeguarding Committee led public awareness campaign on Financial Abuse will run for the week (October 16-22). As a member organisation, following are suggestions on things you can do to contribute to the success of the campaign.
Please note: These suggestions apply from the start of business on Monday morning (Oct 16th) when the campaign will have gone live and not before the weekend.
ON YOUR WEBSITE
Run a link to the campaign radio ad: http://safeguardingcommittee.ie/index.php/public-awareness-2/
Run a link to the campaign poster: http://safeguardingcommittee.ie/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/NSC-Campaign-FINANCIAL.jpeg
Include www.safeguardingcommittee.ie as a link.
THROUGH YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA
I will circulate sample Tweets and Facebook posts tomorrow which you could plan / schedule from your account from Monday. (The NSC accounts are: Twitter @safeguardingcom & #safeguardingcom / Facebook https://www.facebook.com/safeguardingcom/)
SHARE THE NEWS RELEASE
I will circulate the campaign news release on Monday morning which you could post as a blog, circulate to staff, or include as an article in your next newsletter etc.
SEND AN INTERNAL MEMO
If your organisation has an internal staff news system you could circulate a brief notice including the basic campaign details, link to the website, the campaign materials and social media details.
POSTER on STAFF / PUBLIC NOTICEBOARDS
The campaign graphic / poster is attached in A4 format which you could download and place on display front of house, or on information boards you may have.
