Email your TD to explain the importance of  addressing the DIsability Funding Crisis in the Programme for Government 

Following on from our election campaign in which we highlighted the severe crisis affecting disability services and supports, the National Federation of Voluntary Service Providers is now calling on the parties negotiating to form a Government that the Programme for Government must  address the issues raised as a matter of urgency. 

It can be difficult to focus on other issues at a time of crisis in relation to the COVID19 virus, however without the investment needed in disability supports, people with disabilities and their families will be even more disadvantaged, as the capacity of the system to respond and support people is less when services are stretched to breaking point. 

You can help to keep the focus on the needs of people with disabilities and their families by emailing your local TD, or the party leaders using this email tool developed by the voluntary organisations of the Oireachtas Disability Group.

Let them know about the key issues in relation to disability that are most pressing for you and your family, and remind them of the key messages of the Oireachtas Disability Campaign and the National Federation key messages.
