The Draft Programme for the 9th International Disability Law Summer School is now available.
The theme for the 2017 Summer School is on psychosocial disability. It will focus on facilitating access to justice, recognition of legal capacity, the right to liberty and community living. The aim of the 5 day Summer School is to equip participants with the insights and skills necessary to help them translate the generalities of the UN Convention into tangible reform for persons with disabilities.
Over 100 delegates from at least 30 countries are expected to attend this year’s Summer School. The keynote address will be delivered by Catalina Devandas, UN Special Rapporteur on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
