Final reports of the 'Moving Ahead' project available to download

Final reports of the 'Moving Ahead' project are now available to download. The 'Moving Ahead' Project was a large Health Research Board 'Health Services Award Grant' which explored differences in the rates at which adults with intellectual disability in Ireland are moving to community living options.

The National Federation hosted a very well attended one-day event on the policy and legislative developments in relation to children, including the Children’s First, Bill on Tuesday 10th March, 2015 in the Heritage Hotel in Portlaoise. A report on this event is now available to download.

Deadline for Irish Water registration to be extended

The deadline for households to submit account details to Irish Water has been extended to the end of November. The Commission for Energy Regulation announced today that a proposal by Irish Water to extend the deadline for registration from the original date of October 31st had been accepted.
